چکیده
Abstract. Continuous progress in navigation, sensor-based, and GPS technologies have made smart devices essential to our daily lives many location-based applications. However, the trajectory datasets generated by these applications require management of large data volumes while preserving their main properties semantics. One most popular methods for compressing offline is Douglas–Peucker (DP) algorithm, but its principles should be applied a diverse range contexts when considering real-time data. This paper introduces Flexible Douglas-Peucker algorithm (FDP) that takes into account data’s diversity, underlying properties, The proposed framework Geolife benchmark dataset with series different thresholds reflects constraints performing compression process. results show achieves significant rate points semantic role concerning modes transportation.

A multi-parametric approach for solid transportation problem with uncertainty fuzzy flexible conditions
The most convenient models of Solid Transportation (ST) problems have been justly considered a kind of uncertainty in their parameters such as fuzzy, grey, stochastic, etc. and usually, they suggest solving the main problems by solving some crisp equivalent model/models based on their proposed approach such as using ranking functions, embedding problems etc. Furthermore, there exist some shortc...
متن کاملPlanning Multi-Modal Transportation Problems
Multi-modal transportation is a logistics problem in which a set of goods have to be transported to different places, with the combination of at least two modes of transport, without a change of container for the goods. The goal of this paper is to describe TIMIPLAN, a system that solves multi-modal transportation problems in the context of a project for a big company. In this paper, we combine...
متن کاملَA Multi-objective simulated annealing algorithm to solving flexible no-wait flowshop scheduling problems with transportation times
This paper deals with a bi-objective hybrid no-wait flowshop scheduling problem minimizing the makespan and total weighted tardiness, in which we consider transportation times between stages. Obtaining an optimal solution for this type of complex, large-sized problem in reasonable computational time by using traditional approaches and optimization tools is extremely difficult. This paper presen...
متن کاملA Simulated Annealing Algorithm for Multi Objective Flexible Job Shop Scheduling with Overlapping in Operations
In this paper, we considered solving approaches to flexible job shop problems. Makespan is not a good evaluation criterion with overlapping in operations assumption. Accordingly, in addition to makespan, we used total machine work loading time and critical machine work loading time as evaluation criteria. As overlapping in operations is a practical assumption in chemical, petrochemical, and gla...
متن کاملMulti-Modal Tracking for Video Compression
This paper describes a system which uses multiple visual processes to detect and track faces for video compression and transmission. The system is based on an architecture in which a supervisor selects and activates visual processes in cyclic manner. Control of visual processes is made possible by a confidence factor which accompanies each observation. Fusion of results into a unified estimatio...
